Privacy Policy
Pluto Family Calendar (“Pluto Family Calendar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use the Pluto Family Calendar website, web application, and mobile application (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Pluto Family Calendar, we may collect:

We may also store information and content you choose to enter into the Service, including your household’s family member profiles, events, and uploaded photos.

We use information we collect to:
- Provide and operate Pluto Family Calendar;

- Maintain and secure the Service;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse or unauthorized activity;

3. Paired Displays
When you pair a display, it receives a credential that lets it read your household’s agenda, including family member names and events, until you revoke it. Anyone who can see the screen can read what it shows.
4. Cookies
Pluto Family Calendar uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, maintain functionality, and understand basic usage of the Service.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect certain features of Pluto Family Calendar.
5. Third-Party Services
Pluto Family Calendar uses certain third-party services to operate and protect the Service. These services may receive information such as your IP address when your browser interacts with them.
Umami
We use Umami to understand basic usage of the Service, such as which pages are visited and which buttons and links are used. Umami does not use cookies. When you view a page or use a button or link, your browser sends Umami the page address, the referring page, the name of that button or link, your screen size, language and browser type, and Umami receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not send what you type, such as event or family member names. We remove security tokens from page addresses before they are sent. When you are signed in, we also send an identifier for your account, which is a random code and not your email address, so that your visits can be linked together.
These third-party services process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
6. Payment Information
If you purchase a paid product or subscription, payment information may be collected and processed as necessary to complete the transaction.
We use payment information for payment and order processing. We do not sell your payment information.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may use third-party service providers when necessary to operate Pluto Family Calendar, including providers for hosting, payment processing, authentication, email delivery, security, and other essential infrastructure.
These providers may process information, including IP addresses, as necessary to provide their services.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of Pluto Family Calendar, our users, or others.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you delete content, we may retain limited copies for a reasonable period in backups or where necessary for security, fraud prevention, moderation, legal compliance, or other legitimate purposes.
